Depuis 2012, Mohammed Lakel vit en France.<\/span><\/p>\n

Jardinier de la paroisse du Bienheureux Charles de Foucauld dans le quartier de l\u2019\u00c9peule \u00e0 Roubaix, membre du bureau du Comit\u00e9 des sans-papiers du Nord, il travaille et s\u2019implique b\u00e9n\u00e9volement au sein de nombreuses associations de la m\u00e9tropole lilloise (le Secours catholique, la Popote, l\u2019Univers\u2026).<\/span><\/p>\n

Participant aux mobilisations syndicales, \u00e9tudiantes, pour les droits des femmes, de Nuit Debout, des gilets jaunes et bien s\u00fbr des sans-papiers, Mohammed r\u00e9pond pr\u00e9sent, avec celles et ceux qui luttent contre la r\u00e9signation et pour la d\u00e9fense des droits.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dans ses combats, il a nou\u00e9 de nombreuses amiti\u00e9s, vivaces et ind\u00e9fectibles.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mohammed a construit sa vie ici. Chez lui, c\u2019est ici.<\/span><\/p>\n

Le 6 ao\u00fbt dernier, Mohammed Lakel a \u00e9t\u00e9 arr\u00eat\u00e9, au seul motif qu\u2019il \u00e9tait sans-papiers, et plac\u00e9 au centre de r\u00e9tention de Lesquin. La pr\u00e9fecture de Lille demandait un contrat de travail pour que son dossier soit \u00e9tudi\u00e9 par la Codrese (la commission d\u00e9partementale charg\u00e9e du r\u00e9examen de la situation des demandeurs \u00e9trangers). Celle-ci doit se r\u00e9unir d\u00e9but septembre et statuer sur son cas, alors qu\u2019un emploi de jardinier \u00e0 la Ferme du Trichon l’attend d\u00e9sormais \u00e0 Roubaix.<\/span><\/p>\n

Face \u00e0 un mouvement de solidarit\u00e9 massif de ses ami\u00b7es, de ses camarades, des \u00e9lu\u00b7es, des organisations associatives, partidaires, syndicales, des citoyen\u00b7nes, la pr\u00e9fecture du Nord a r\u00e9pondu par le m\u00e9pris, la violence, et a expuls\u00e9 Mohammed vers l\u2019Alg\u00e9rie, le 19 ao\u00fbt.<\/span><\/p>\n
